Alvin G. Toney is a HUD-Certified Housing Counselor, real estate and mortgage professional, and retired U.S. Navy veteran with over 23 years of distinguished military service. Serving from 1978 to 2002, he retired as an Electronic Technician Chief Petty Officer and later earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Banking. During his service, he became the Command’s Financial Specialist Chief, where he developed a passion for helping individuals strengthen their financial stability through education.

Alongside his counseling work, Alvin has owned and operated multiple real estate and lending businesses, providing mortgage, development, and property management services throughout California. He has also been a long-time supporter and leader within the Veterans Association of Real Estate Professionals (VAREP), helping advocate for veteran housing needs nationwide and earning the organization’s highest honor, the Founders Hall of Fame Award.
