Ms. Evelyn A. Reeves is a distinguished Realtist with over 40 years of experience in the real estate industry, widely recognized for her leadership and advocacy for fair and equitable housing. Throughout her career, she has advised United States Congresspersons, State Senators, Mayors, City Council Members, and State Real Estate Commissioners on housing and legislative issues, shaping policies and practices that advance democracy in housing.
Ms. Reeves has served in executive leadership roles as National President, Chairperson, and Board Member for major real estate industry organizations, including work with financial institutions such as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Her expertise in organizational development, operations, and housing policy has supported efforts to expand opportunities for minority real estate professionals and promote affirmative housing practices nationwide.
She currently serves as President, Broker Officer, and Property Manager for First Security Investment Company, Inc., overseeing sales, acquisition, financing, and redevelopment projects exceeding $50 million, as well as the management of more than 2,000 apartment units and over $12 million in asset and trust portfolios. Her work remains rooted in her mission of creating and sustaining generational wealth in the community.
